Event Overview
On behalf of the South West Orienteering Association and Bristol Orienteering Klub, we warmly welcome you to the British Sprint & British Sprint Relay Championships 2026.
DAY 1 - RELAYS - SATURDAY 27 JUNE 2026 (University of Bristol, North Village)
The Relays will be based in the North Village student accommodation area of the University of Bristol, locted just off Clifton Downs.
Timings
- First mass start 13:30
- Prize Giving 16:30
- Courses close 16:45
DAY 2 - INDIVIDUAL - SUNDAY 28 JUNE 2026 (UWE Frenchay Campus)
The Championships will be based on the Frenchay campus of the University of West of England (UWE). Access for competitors will only be via UWE’s North entrance - the exit road south from the A4174 northern ring road - the section known locally as Filton Road. The post code covering this North campus entrance is BS34 8QN and the What3words is ///words.riders.lined. Parking will be in the car parks south of this entrance. Assembly, catering and toilets will be based at the UWE Student’s Union building.

- Qualifier Starts 10:30 – 12:00
- Finals Starts 14:00 – 15:30.
- Prize Giving 16:00 – 17:00
The British Orienteering Federation 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held between the qualifying races and the finals. close to the Event Centre.
